Hi! And welcome to Farm Girl Fridays! I am sewing along with the Fat Quarter Shop and Lori Holt! Have you seen Lori Holt’s new book Farm Girl Vintage 2? It is sew cute! Fat Quarter Shop also has all of the super cute Farm Girl Vintage fabric if you want to make the whole quilt!
Every Friday, Lori Holt and the Fat Quarter Shop share one of Lori’s quilt blocks for the Farm Girl Vintage Quilt Along.
I am quilting along with them! I picked out my favorite Bonnie and Camille Fabrics!
I have been holding onto some of this yellow fabric for a LONG time! I knew I needed to make the cute bee block in this book and use up some of this yellow fabric.
Aren’t those little yellow wings perfect? I’m so glad I saved that Marmalade fabric by Bonnie and Camille!
Seriously this bundle of fabric is so sweet! I love the Little Snippets fabric as the background. Now I’m thinking I need a whole quilt with this background.
I decided I needed a new mug rug. I love to drink hot chocolate in the morning. This little bee is the perfect cheery block to get me through the rest of the winter. I used my favorite basting spray to baste this block. SpraynBond by Thermoweb is such a great basting spray. It doesn’t leave a residue and it doesn’t make my needle sticky.
Now I’m already for my morning hot chocolate! This little mug rug is Bee-utiful!
Also, aren’t those beehive salt and pepper shakers the cutest? They were my aunts and I love them!
