I am excited to share my new project with you today! I absolutely love fairy tales. So when I saw Jill Howarth’s new fabric line Brier Rose, I just knew I had to make something. Did I mention I have 5 girls? We do princesses all day long over here!

This fabric line is sew cute! It is full of little scenes from Brier Rose or Sleeping Beauty. There are little cottages with woodland creatures, fairies, a spinning wheel. And so much more! Plus it has gold accents! This is seriously made for little princesses.

There is also the cutest panel with this fabric line. It has Brier Rose asleep in her castle. The castle is surrounded by flowers and even has a menacing Malificent standing guard. I knew I had to use the panel in my project.

I thought that this sweet little heart block would make a fun addition to the panel. I used Cluck Cluck Sew’s tutorial for creating the heart blocks. They turned out sew cute! I love the little dragons. The details in this fabric line are the cutest! I used my favorite Aurifil thread to stitch these blocks up! And my BERNINA of course!

Speaking of details. I love these little pink fairies. I had to use this for the sashing and borders in my project. Plus the fairies all have gold accents. I love it!

And here you have it! I combined all of my favorites from this line. I included the panel, the pink fairies and hearts! Now my little princesses have the perfect little quilt to drag around.
