Homemade for the Holidays with Aurifil and Accuquilt

Happy Holidays! Today I get to share a fun and quick idea for the holidays.

I quilted up this beautiful Holly Holiday fabric for Riley Blake Designs with my favorite Aurifil. I used a new to me shade of pink-2420. It matched perfectly! I did a simple cross-hatch quilting design with lines 1″ apart. 50 wt. Aurifil is my favorite to quilt with. The thread does great with all the layers of my quilt sandwich. The thread also blends into the fabric while quilting!

I also used Aurifil thread to bind my oven mitt. This charcoal-2630 blended perfectly with my binding strips. Aurifil works great to bind all the things! I always use it to bind my quilts. Aurifil has a ton of colors that always match my binding perfectly.
